Home for the next few days

It may be tiny, but it's a place to lay my head for the next few days while I have a blast exploring this corner of the world. Unlike past trips to this fair city, I am pretty much self-directed. Not at a church conference (which is where, in this fair city, I first met the man I would marry and who would become the father of my son).
So far, the plan is working (mostly). The flights were on time. Had a window seat up from Atlanta to Boston, and was treated to the most amazing views of the East coast with the barrier islands and the ports. Thought of LEANJEAN and her pilot son, as I reveled in sights one can ONLY see while flying!
The Atlanta airport, by the way, had free Wi-Fi, but it was slow, compared to what I'm enjoying in my cozy little "home from home". Found the shuttle just fine. Rode downtown with a gent who is in town from Toronto, and he informed me that he got to share a flight with one of their baseball team's pitchers... appears the Blue Jays and the Red Sox have a series of games this weekend! Ooh, wouldn't that make a great selfie for my friend back home, the Huge Red Sox fan!
Got to the hotel easily and with time to spare. The nice desk folks pointed me in the direction of the nearest grocery, but I found a Trader Joe's on the way. And like the tourist I am, I took photos of things like the Boston Athletic Association Run Base Adidas store. And the bleachers already set up in front of the public library on Boyleston Street (where the finish line is)... Tomorrow I will explore more. But for now, I'm buttoned in and content. Have my fruits and dairy laid in. Decided NOT to stock meats or breads, I'll be most likely eating "out".
Oh, yeah, and you can see LOTS of obvious folks here for the same event I'm here for! Mixed in amid the local professionals, who, as I was settling in, were on their way home from their jobs.
Thanks for tolerating us crazies, y'all!
